Como podemos ver la importancia de estas plataformas es bastante y las redes sociales se han convertido en espacios donde se promocionan productos y servicios, pero sobre todo en fuentes de información para las empresas en ellas se logra obtener buenos “feedbacks” y cuando se manejan correctamente se puede llegar a conectar a fondo con el consumidor.
Es una necesidad de las empresas establecer relaciones de beneficio mutuo con sus similares ya sea para intercambiar experiencias, ideas, procesos de producción o crear contactos en el mundo profesional que se vean reflejados en la realización de mejores negocios que incrementen los márgenes de utilidad.
A pesar de lo anterior el 60% de los directivos de las grandes empresas todavía considera que Internet es un peligro para las compañías, la idea sigue vigente debido a que muchos de los negocios todavía no entran de lleno a utilizar estas plataformas que poco a poco se van tendiendo entre empresas a través de internet.
Otro de los factores que alimenta la idea de que Internet es un peligro para las compañías, es el hecho de considerar al recurso un distractor para los empleados y una amenaza a la productividad. La idea está en parte fundamentada, ya que pocos son los empleadores que se preocupan por capacitar a sus empleados en la utilización y manejo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y son mucho menos aquellos que se preocupan por establecer un reglamento claro de cómo se utilizan estos recursos durante la jornada laboral.
Para ponernos un poco en contexto en los países desarrollados donde la integración de la internet es un hecho la discusión ha pasado de la prohibición de esta herramienta durante la jornada laboral para centrarse en cuantificar la productividad real de las redes sociales y su potencial de brindar beneficios económicos a la empresa; y es que no solo el sector empresarial se fortalecen con el uso adecuado de estos sitios; también los universitarios, profesionistas y en general las regiones que se desarrollan como consecuencia de las relaciones que de aquí emanan.
Las posibilidades que se abren para una compañía que utiliza estas redes correctamente son infinitas, en ellas se puede desde obtener financiamiento para proyectos, hasta contratar a la plantilla, pasando por la obtención de servicios de consultoría y / o asesoría o bien contactar con nuevos proveedores.
Las redes sociales son un buen lugar para hacer negocios, estará en la habilidad que tengan los emprendedores para manejar estos recursos el margen de beneficio que puedan obtener a través de los nuevos canales de comunicación.
