A continuación dejamos a su consideración 5 consejos que nos ayudaran a dar una mejor estructura de forma y de fondo a los mensajes que publicamos en esta red social, con el objetivo de mejorar nuestra capacidad para expresar ideas en 140 caracteres.
1.- Todo mundo quiere ser reconocido; El uso del Retweet (RT)
Quien busca que otras personas hagan eco de sus ideas (tweets) y así se le reconozca como un líder de opinión o simplemente como una persona que aporta cierto valor a la comunicación vía Twitter, debe comenzar por retwittear o reenviar los mensajes de otros usuarios de la red. A los twitteros nos halaga ser citados por otros twitteros y muchas veces se agradece el gesto con un retweet reciproco mismo que puede dar promoción a nuevos twitteros dándoles reconocimiento y generando nuevos seguidores. Recuerda siempre citar al autor original del comentario.
2. Pasito tun , tun; La importancia de hacer pequeñas pausas de tiempo.
El hecho de Twittear varios mensajes en periodos muy cortos de tiempo y con información irrelevante para nuestros seguidores puede proyectar una mala imagen de nosotros para con los demás usuarios.
Lo recomendable es dejar un pequeño espacio de tiempo entre un tweet y otro para no “saturar” los timelines de nuestros seguidores.
3. Hay que poner sabor al caldo; el valor agregado.
En Twitter, los mensajes que contienen únicamente un enlace a un sitio Web sin explicación alguna, así como aquellas notificaciones de youtube, msn, facebook, sin excluir aquellos twitts con información demasiado intima, pueden llegar a caer en la categoría de “spam”.
Una buena manera de “ponerle pimienta” a nuestras publicaciones es añadir comentarios, expresar opiniones o puntos de vista e incluso enriquecer el twitt con preguntas provocadoras, que inviten al debate de ideas.
4. De lo bueno poco; el uso moderado de los Hashtags (#).
La utilización de los hashtags (#) debe ser razonable. Esta herramienta debe usarse de manera moderada siempre que contribuya a mejorar la búsqueda de determinadas palabras o temas clave.
El abuso de este recurso puede resultar perjudicial. Cuando empleamos un hashtag cada dos palabras en un tweet, corremos el riesgo de que el mensaje original se vuelva ilegible y se pierda entre tanto signo o bien que se deforme su contenido y que pierda sentido la comunicación.
5. Lo poco agrada, lo mucho enfada; no abusar de las abreviaturas.
Al igual que en el caso de los hashtags (#), el exceso de abreviaturas en la elaboración de un mensaje de Twitter puede apartar a los posibles lectores o bien aburrir a nuestros habituales seguidores.
Es aconsejable utilizar frases e ideas completas y construir los tweets de manera que llamen la atención de otros usuarios, las oraciones completas no sólo son más atractivas, sino que son más fáciles de leer y comprender a primera vista.
