Festival de Morelia… a ‘tweetazos’

Ayer se dieron a conocer detalles sobre la programación e invitados del próximo Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Desde ahí ‘tweeteamos’ y esto es lo que más llamó la atención.

En poco más de una semana estaremos en Michoacán para asistir al 8º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia, quizás la cita fílmica más importante de nuestro país (sigue disputando el título con el Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara).

Durante la conferencia de prensa, tuvimos la posibilidad de compartir vía twitter (@AguilarArturo) algunos de los anuncios más destacados y llamativos de este festival. Aquí dicha información para que a puro ‘tweetazo’, puedan saber de la agenda y programación de este espacio, y en una de esas, se animen a asistir.

Valdrá mucho la pena.

– Biutiful de Alejandro G Iñarritu inaugurará el @FICM. Se proyectaran cintas de la Semana de la Crítica de Cannes.

– El compadre Mendoza, Vamonos con Pancho Villa y El Prisionero 13 (clásicos de Fernando de Fuentes), restauradas y en 35mm se proyectarán en #FICM8

– También estará en el @FICM, Rodrigo Prieto, uno de los mas interesantes y talentosos cinefotógrafos en activo. Sí, es mexicano.

– El FICM en conjunto con la Cineteca Nacional presentará el programa “La imprescindibles de Monsivais.

– Terry Gilliam (12 monos, Brasil) insistió en poder pasar sus 12 películas en el marco del @FICM. Dará una plática magistral a puertas abiertas el lunes 18.

– Se exhibirá “El tío Boonmee que recuerda sus vidas pasadas”, cinta de A. Weerasethakul, ganadora Palma de Oro en Cannes 2010.

– Estrenos: Somewhere” de Sofia Coppola; “Copie Conforme” de Abbas Kiarostami; y “You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger” de Woody Allen.

– Habrá que estar pendientes del programa de cortos españoles de vanguardia y el estreno de “El Baile de la Victoria” de F. Trueba.

-Además habrá una retrospectiva del realizador francés Oliver Assayas, con el estreno de “Carlos”.

– El Jurado del 8º FICM: Jukka-Pekka Laakso, Pablo Fendrik, Charles Tesson, Gideon Koppel, David Courier, Denis Lim, Ángel Garcés, Scott Foundas, Gerwin Tamsma, Cristina Prado, Gustavo Sánchez Parra y Lucrecia Martel.

– Borrar de la memoria (escrita Por Rafael Aviña, crítico de Reforma) es un thriller de nota roja con guiños a la actualidad y al ’68. Es su debut como guionista.

Por su parte, estos fueron algunos de los ‘tweets’ desde la cuenta oficial del festival, @FICM.

– Nos preguntan y respondemos: contaremos con los 10 cineastas de la cinta Revolución.

– No te pierdas la selección de cortos de directores graduados del London Film School en el 8o FICM.

– Dentro del programa “México Imaginario” se presentará “Viva Zapata” de Elia Kazan y “Érase una vez la Revolución” de Sergio Leone.

– Además de Javier Bardem viene la actriz argentina Maricel Alvarez.

– Este año en competencia: 46 cortos, 20 documentales, 13 obras michoacanas y 7 largos mexicanos.

– Homenajeados de este año: los Hermanos Alva. (precursores del cine en México)
