Tres adolescentes de una lista publicada en Facebook con los nombres de 69 probables blancos de asesinato han muerto en un lapso de 10 días en una localidad al suroeste de Colombia, informaron las autoridades.

La policía dijo que desconoce quién publicó la lista o por qué contiene esos nombres.

“No lo tenemos claro”, dijo a CNN Wilson Baquero, vocero de la Policía Nacional. “Lo estamos investigando.

Los funcionarios afirman que un grupo criminal conocido como Los Rastrojos opera en el área, lo mismo que las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC).

La lista se publicó el 17 de agosto en Facebook y ahí se daba un plazo de tres días para que sus integrantes abandonaran Puerto Asís, so pena de muerte, dijo el defensor del pueblo Volmar Pérez Ortiz.

Al principio, dice Pérez, la policía pensó que se trataba de una broma. Pero la publicación de una segunda lista con nombres adicionales obligó a la policía a una reunión de emergencia el 20 de agosto.

La publicación de las listas y las reuniones ocurrieron después de los dos primeros homicidios, que se registraron el 15 de agosto, dijo Pérez.

Ese día, dice la policía, Diego Ferney Jaramillo, un estudiante de 16 años, y Eibart Alejandro Ruiz Muñoz, un comerciante de discos compactos de 17, murieron por disparos cuando viajaban en motocicleta en una carretera que une Puerto Asís con Puerto Caicedo.

Los medios colombianos informaron el lunes sobre el temor de los que figuran en las listas y del pánico que azota a Puerto Asís. Algunos padres han enviado a sus hijos fuera del pueblo pues sus nombres figuran en las listas.

Las autoridades ya ofrecen una recompensa (de 2,750 dólares) para quien dé información sobre los homicidios.
