Falla en Twitter afecta a millones de usuarios

La red social Twitter sufre una seria falla en su sistema que impide el acceso de los usuarios a sus perfiles. El problema provoca que la pantalla del sitio de microblog se llene de mensajes de error o con líneas negras, además de que retuitea los mensajes de otros usuarios sin el permiso del dueño de la cuenta.

Hasta el momento Twitter no ha informado el origen de la falla, pero algunos usuarios informan a través del hashtag #virus que puede ser provocado por un bug que afecta la seguridad del sitio de microblog, aunque se desconoce si se trata de un ataque al sitio.

Los twitteros recomiendan no pasar el puntero del mouse por “tweets extraños”, como líneas negras o reenvíos de mensajes con códigos poco comunes, ya que el virus entra en acción al momento de seleccionar un enlace roto en el sitio.

La falla sólo afecta a los usuarios que entran a Twitter a través de una computadora, mientras que el servicio a través de sitios como tweetdeck o mobiletwitter funciona normalmente.
