Caracas.- La policía venezolana informó hoy que detuvo a un ingeniero de la estatal Corporación Eléctrica Nacional (Corpoelec) por haber “instigado” al asesinato del presidente del país, Hugo Chávez, a través de mensajes y fotos difundidos en la red social Twitter.

Jesús Enrique Majano Rodríguez fue detenido el miércoles por la policía científica CICPC, dijo este jueves su director, el comisario Wilmer Flores, según informó la estatal Agencia Venezolana de Noticias (AVN).

Majano Rodríguez, cuya nacionalidad no fue precisada, es señalado por las autoridades de haber “manifestado y difundido en Twitter su ideología personal e incitar a sus seguidores en contra de la figura del Presidente de la República”, de acuerdo a la información oficial.

El detenido colocó en la red social “fotografías del primer mandatario Hugo Chávez Frías con heridas en su rostro y sugiriendo cómo se puede hacer el magnicidio”, añadió Flores, de acuerdo a la AVN.

Majano Rodríguez, un ingeniero electricista de la Unidad de Gestión de Energía de la Región Oeste de Caracas, será presentado ante la fiscalía 121 la capital venezolano, añadió la agencia estatal de información.

El pasado 29 de abril un ciudadano venezolano de 29 años fue detenido acusado de su “presunta vinculación con la instigación al magnicidio”, según anunció entonces el ministro del Interior, Tarek El Aissami.

El detenido, que no fue identificado, “tiene múltiples estadías y entradas en Colombia” y este hecho “ratifica lo que hemos venido denunciando: el plan continuo y permanente que hay, la amenaza permanente que hay contra el presidente Chávez”, dijo El Aissami.

El Gobierno venezolano denuncia de manera recurrente la existencia de planes para asesinar a Chávez, que serían fraguados por opositores locales y extranjeros a la “revolución” bolivariana que dirige en Venezuela desde hace 11 años.

Portavoces de la oposición ha rechazado los señalamientos gubernamentales en su contra y han dicho que las denuncias de magnicidio serían un “invento” de Chávez para tratar de tapar la presunta corrupción e ineficiencia de su gestión.
