Es muy importante tener conocimiento del poder que tienen las redes sociales en Internet hoy en día y del gran impacto que tiene el uso de las mismas en nuestro entorno, debemos estar conscientes de que las ideas ahí expuestas pueden llegar a ser vistas por un gran numero de personas y que en un determinado momento, la información colocada en estas plataformas esta al alcance de un número incalculable de usuarios de Internet.
Se recomienda pensar un poco antes de “twittear” y no confundir términos. Twitter no es un “diario íntimo”, es un sitio de microbloggin que sirve como foro de expresión a través del cual se pueden compartir ideas y experiencias de todo tipo y si bien es cierto que podemos relatar las ideas más retorcidas, hay que asumir que si la cuenta de Twitter que utilizamos no es privada, la audiencia puede ser mas grande de lo que uno se imagina.
Está claro que la base de Twitter es compartir experiencias y describir los sucesos que ocurren a nuestro alrededor, pero siempre hay que actuar con precaución al utilizar este tipo de herramientas, porque uno nunca sabe quien puede estar leyendo esos tweets.
Top 10 de lo que no es recomendable comunicar a nuestros followers
1.- Números de teléfono.
Nunca sabes quién ni con qué intenciones puede legar a leer tus tweets, y son datos que siempre es mejor compartir en privado.
2.- Comentarios negativos sobre clientes.
Es probable que esa persona, sobre todo a ciertos niveles pueda tener también una cuenta en Twitter, por otro lado es posible que haciendo lo anterior ahuyentes a clientes potenciales al ver el trato que ofreces.
3.- Quejas sobre compañeros de trabajo.
Existe una gran posibilidad de que tu compañero también esté twitteando en ese momento, y que la pelea o mal entendido suba de nivel.
4.- Reclamos a tu jefe.
Si eres asiduo a este tipo de tweets te recomendamos no incluir tu cuenta de Twitter en tu currículum.
5.- Faltas cometidas
Si cometiste alguna infracción por pequeña que sea o te pasaste de listo con alguien, publicar esos detalles generará desconfianza.
6.- Anécdotas poco “plausibles”.
Borracheras, fiestas, si has copiado algún examen no tiene porque enterarse todo el mundo.
7.- Momentos “escatológicos”.
Nada de situaciones que tengan que ver con algún tipo de fluido corporal. Hay cosas que no es necesario que cuentes en Twitter.
8.- Vicios.
Nadie tiene porque enterarse de tus miserias.
9.- Sígueme que te sigo.
En un follow Friday o viernes de recomendación esta frase casi quiere decir bloquéame, nunca condiciones a tus seguidores potenciales.
10.- Calumnias. Las mentiras siempre son malas sobre todo aquellas que involucran a terceras personas, recuerda que a través de tus tweets se refleja tu personalidad.
Toma en cuenta que en Twitter la audiencia es infinitamente mayor a la de un e-mail y además en un correo electrónico la comunicación ser realiza generalmente entre 2 participantes, aunque existen excepciones. El proceso se compone por un remitente, quien desarrolla y emite el mensaje y un destinatario que lo recibe, quienes por lo general tienen algún tipo de relación social o laboral. Por otro lado en la red social nunca sabes quién cuantos destinatarios van a leer tu mensaje.
Casi todo es válido en las redes sociales, siempre con educación, hay que tomar en cuenta que tienes un público que lee todo lo que escribes y que interpretará tus ideas a su manera.
